I wore my hair in a bun for two days before executing the style:
- Apply less than a fingertip's amount of Koils by Nature nourishing hair and body butter sweet almond joy to each section.
- Two strand twist hair at the root, approximately two inches, then twisted remaining length into a bantu knot.
- Apply Karen's Body Beautiful jojoba oil to the ends before securing with small bobby pin.
- Spray completed knots with Jane Carter's leave in conditioner.

**You can also stretch your hair in twists, braids, or by banding.

your hair is absolutely gorgeous!!
Beautiful, thanks for sharing!
Bellisima! Love the look. Did you start with damp or dry hair? Did you leave the knots in overnight?
Cute! I must try this one. This is my first winter natural and I'm trying to get together some different styling routines other than wash and go which I have found dries out my hair like crazy in the winter.
Very pretty! How much shrinkage do you have when your hair is freshly washed?
Gawgeous!
I love Jane Carter's leave in. Your hair is very pretty
Soo pretty!!
She is too cute! I LOVE IT!
i love the bantu knot-out...it's my signature:0) mine never lasts more than one day though. I have to twist every night. don't know if it's because our hair textures are different...I am 4B.
This is so beautiful!! I haven't done bantu-knots since I transitioned and those were much smaller so it came out in very tight curls (I miss them, LOL). I've been nervous to try them since being completely natural.
@DarlingNikki- I hear you. I'm 4a/4b and that's why I haven't tried them that big yet. The frizz and krinkle factor is like tripled... LOL. I'm used to re-twisting at night though; maybe I could do this for Christmas since it works for you. How many twists do you put in at night to preserve it?
Beautiful - I love Bantu Knots!
omg I think this is the best bantu knot out I've ever seen! I love it!
This is beautiful! Thanks for the tips!
I love it, I must give it a try
Wizarding Wheezer - I've been moving all day and just so your post:0)
I probably put approximately 20 twists...it depends. I just grab and go...lol
When I wash my hair, its in 4 sections and I do 4-5 twists per section. I am starting to learn though that I could do them bigger since my hair has grown out so much...so when I wash this weekend I will try 3-4 twists and see how it turns out..
Thanks for the compliments!
@Namun, I did the knots on dry hair. I had worn my hair in buns the previous two days.
@Anonymous RE: shrinkage when wet - My hair shrinks when drying. It is at it's longest when wet (or flat ironed).
That is one of the best bantu knot outs I have seen. Your hair looks so healthy too.
That is a thing of beauty! I am going to have to try that one.. take a much-needed break from my standard braid-outs!
Wow! Gorgeous!!
