Hiya Curlies,

This video describes how I complete a set of two strand twists and shows exactly how I take down that set and prep for my twistout fro. I show a few things and discuss tips that will give you ultimate results every time. I wear this style quite often when I am not in protective styles so check it out and enjoy.

OMG! That is my curly fro routine EXACTLY...even the castor oil rub down part!!! LOL! Except, my fro doesn't hang in the front like that...yet!! Wow... Good video!

And yet again I'm reminded that I need to invest in a pic. Love the results!

Wow this was sooooo helpful! My hair is on the finer side and when I do twist outs, they kind of just hang there...I had never even thought of using a pick to help give it a fro-ier look. Thanks!!

I just braided my hair for a braid-out. Plan to try the pick trick when I take it out this evening. Great video.

I luv it! I have about another 6 months and I'll be at the same length. I do the same thing but with a braid out. I like the idea about using the pic in the roots(LOL I've been using my fingers, why didn't I think of the pic?)
You look lovely with this look. Who says natural isn't beautiful?

Great idea about using the pic to fluff and hide the parts! Great video...thanks!

Love it. Gonna do it tomorrow! I love that she said "rut" instead of root.
Peace to my southern curlies lol

Awesome video; thank you.

Question: How do you and other twist-out-fro-curlies maintain this style overnight?

Last night, I tried this routine on my 1 inch of lusciousness ; )..slept in twists...picked it out this morning and love it... but what about tomorrow?

Hello there Curlies,

Thank you all for your sweet comments. Normally my twistout fro lasts for 4-5 days or longer if I try to stretch it. :-) I simply retwist at night but I do NOT comb through my curls. I just grab a chunk of hair and retwist. I may use a little coconut oil or a light moisturizer to aid in the process. I put on my satin bonnet and have no worries while sleeping. I take the twists down and the morning and fluff/pick out as neccessary.
