Show and Tell- Fierce Friday!

Hola chicas!

It's that time again! The images below are of CN readers at their work, on the town, and with the fam. Showing us all that natural hair is not a fad, it's a way of extension of our beauty! Click on the images to enlarge them--

More of the shenanigans that occurred while I was in Greece...

I had a presentation and this is the result of a FAILED (UBERFAILED twist out) on semi-flat ironed hair. I refused to go into class looking a hot mess and the natural hair gods smiled down on me and helped me out. I loved the results and had to take pictures for my blog! This style is a combination of two chunky flat twists on the side, gelling up the back and a roll/pomp in the front.
Ladies' night out. I was rockin' a simple wash n go using SheaMoisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie.
On the way home from a night on the town! How I love wash and go's. I added a hair scarf to tie it up a little.

Love the website it has help me so much within the last year. I live in NJ on the border of PA and last year I got tired of perming my hair and burning my scalp. My 9 year also was having the idea of straight hair is better. So I transitioned from June of 2010 and chopped Jan 2011. It has been and is a beautiful journey... the hair styles I come up with or those copied from Youtube has helped me look fierce and fabulous. This year is my 15th wedding anniversary and I renewed my vows by taking photos. I haved attached a family photo because I was so happy with my hair. Thanks Nikki for your support through the Curlynikki website my mom and girlfriend are now natural too!
Twist and Curl from air dried hair. I twisted using flaxseed gel, castor oil and Oyin burnt sugar pomade for sealing. I was going to a gathering with some classmates for an end of the semester party for FAMU's Nursing School 2013 gathering!
During a photoshoot for new modeling comp card photos, I wore a a dry flat twist-out using Qhemet Biologics Amla & Olive Heavy Cream, my favorite product :)
Re-twisted a bantu knot-out from the night before using a little Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie--was headed to the 2011 State Farm Bayou Classic Battle of the Bands & Greek Show in New Orleans, La! (:
Headed out rockin' a mean twist-out!!!
I absolutely love your site. The attached picture is me working on my day off... LOL! I was running late and it was a bad hair day. My fave head-band and Proclaim's Glossing Polish (to reduce frizz) saved the day!!
Rocking my first attempt at a flexi-rod set. The back of my hair was blah so I pinned it up, but I was able to work the front! I’m going to try again…

**If you don't see yourself today, rest assured that you'll be up in the coming weeks! I post in the order I receive them!**

**To submit**:
Send in your favorite picture with a caption detailing where you were (or where you were headed to), along with a brief description of your hairstyle, to [email protected] I'll post several each Friday. Be sure to use 'Fierce Friday' as the subject line!
We always need more!

@ije, the lipgloss I am wearing is by Express. I forget the name of the shade, but it is nude and smells like vanilla :) And for the makeup tutorials, I am a makeup artist and am working on some tutorials :)

@Erica, for my flat twistout, I create 8 flat twists. I part my hair horizontally at my ears and with the bottom half, create four twists going down. With the top half, I create a side part and have two twists each going toward each ear (if that makes sense).

Thank you everyone for the compliments :) Everyone's hair looks fabulouis in this week's "Fierce Friday"!
