Just realized that I have been wearing more skinnies lately. I’m always going to be partial to my 70s style flares and bell bottoms, but I’ll rock a sweet pair of skinny pants as long as they are reminiscent of the 50s and 60s.

I always crop them to ankle length or shorter.

Wearing: White double breasted blazer – Similar here. Like this Bebe piece here or this Rag & Bone piece on super sale. Polka dot blouses available here, here or there. Similar distressed jeans here or here. The Rosetta pumps are currently on sale and available here.

Bag – Chanel. Sunglasses – Greg’s and clearly very oversize on me. Enjoy…xo

about StylePantry--
Every Wednesday, I’m going to open my closets to Curly Nikki community and invite you all in. This is my story as a working mother of 3, fashionably chasing my kids around. It’s one thing for us to point at the runways, drool over the lookbooks, and pick off the shelves of our favorite boutiques, but more importantly, we as fashion-minded people need to share our styles more. So please, leave your comments and share your thoughts, and by all means submit your fashion/style questions or "where to shop" for certain pieces to @stylepantry on Twitter or on Facebook.

I wish you could just go shopping for me and set all the outfits out. I love looks like this, but don't have the creativity to pull it off.

This is too cute! You pulled it all together...especially with the unexpected red shoes.

I really do like this look.

And to each their own, BUT I kind of wish she'd change her up a bit every now and then. Just not really a fan of it. But again, love this outfit.

I am loving this look. I love polka dots but haven't managed to find the "right" top. I can't afford these prices so the search continues :)

Love the look but without the blazer.

Kandyapple,
in case your not "watching" there is two other curlies that have been added to the clothing category. It never fails to CRACK ME UP! When people throw salt on people when they don't understand or don't like something about someone. You may not like her style and that's ok...but others do. So if Nikki wants to showcase her as much as she does then that's ok too. GREAT WAY TO SUPPORT ANOTHER SISTER NIKKI!!! I wish there were more people like you!

Giving honest opinion = throwing salt

@Carmel Stacks,
no there's nothing wrong with giving an honest opinion. And no "one's honest opinion" dosen't = throwing salt. but she stated that Stylepantry be switched up a bit,not a fan...and if I'm not mistaken Nikki added 2 other stylist's. So is there still an issue? Or to really be honest...does she just not want her featured @ all??? Let's keep it real...I can respect that. It's all about supporting ladies. doesn't mean you can't have your opinions.

Ms. Anonymous 2/2/12 2:42, just to clarify, I was not speaking about Nikki switching it up. I think my fingers was not moving as quickly as my thought process. I was referring to the lady above. I wish she would change up her hair. I know it is her hair and she can do what she pleases, but I just think it would be interesting to see how her features and bone structure looks with her hair worn in various ways to accompany the wide style in clothes she tends to have.

Tis all. And I actually do love that Nikki switched it up and added other people. It keeps it from being monotonous.

However, I must agree with the previous poster. People are starting to use the phrase "throwing salt" or "hating" a little too often now. Sometimes a difference of opinion is just that. Nothing more an nothing less.
