At home with my son. I guess it would be considered a wash-n-go style. Washed/conditioned hair with Jane Carter Solution Hydrating Invigorating Shampoo (SLS-Free) and Nutrient Replenishing Conditioner. Followed with the Jane Carter Solution Curl Defining Cream.

Me and my new granddaughter Aaliyah. My hair is styled in a twistout that was done on an old twistout using SheaMoisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie and sealed with....some grease product. Aaliyah is rocking her fro with a bow placed in just the right spot...lol!

Before this event, I hosted a natural hair event on my campus to help inspire other young ladies to not be afraid of being your natural self. I had a really good turn out... the school offered to sponsor me next semester!

I love Jane Carter products. Omgsh Marie that was excellent that you hosted a natural hair event at your school. I wish someone could do one at my college (Unlv) because there are so many naturals there now! I hope I get up the courage to do one if no one else does one you never know I might get sponsored too! I love everyones hair and I am going to try some of these styles or remix them. I too visit curlynikki everyday as well.

Thank u! It took a while for me to get sponsored because there wasn't that many naturally on campus. I was the only natural for a long time, but I used my own money at first, and I quickly began to have a fanbase. I host 2 hair meetups a semester! But soon iam about to graduate so I'm thinking bout having a permanent organization
