MARS BAR!!!

Email me (nikki@curlynikki.com) with your contact info ASAP!  Congrats!!!

So we crashed Big Sean's party and were treated to an endless flow of champagne, "horse-douvrahs" and some of the best people watching a girl can ask for. The venue, Bogatelle, was fabulous, super glam and ridiculously and unexpectedly intimate. I arrived early, watched the events unfold from the bar, and mostly stood around listening to everyone whispering "is Ye going to be here?"

Peep the view-

I would be most interested in trying Curl Control Defining Pudding. If it really does control frizz and boost shine, it could be styler i've been looking for. Right now, I moisturize with a leave in, seal with oil and add pomade to the edges. It could potentially replace the leave in, or be a go-to product when washing and going.

Meka Pittman said...

Great party pics! I would use the Curl Control Defining Pudding for my natural medium length kinky twists, to help keep them non-funky fresh! I love the fact that being natural is the exact opposite of having relaxed hair. I am having such fun with my hair, I feel like that little girl awaiting Mama to "do my hair" for that special day! I'm in love with my hair, no shame at all!

On another note:
i would love to try the Curl Defining Pudding as I am literally growing out of my TWA phase and Im trying to find products that will allow me to phase out hair gel but its so hard and there is so much out there. There are days when I leave the beauty supply store, or target, dizzy from reading labels.

I'd love to try the moisture butter whipped curl creme. I'm yet to get anywhere past 1 day twist outs and braidouts. After a day, the curls are peacing out and the hair doesn't hang anymore. I always have to put it up and I'm a free spirit dammit! I want my hair out and blowing in the wind. So I'd use it for those styles as well as try to have the front of my hair LOOK moisturized. Regardless of what I put in there it forever looks dry & a bit trashy :( k. Thanks!

Bianca said...

I've loved your blog ever since I was caught between relaxer-stretching and transitioning. Lol. I never really commented though, but you've got me checking your site regularly for these contest. FYI: Your hair and outfit are fabulous!!! :)

I would be beyond stoked to try the Rapid Repair Deep Conditioner. The instructions say sit under a dryer and use for 15 minutes, 25 minutes for extremely damaged, over processed, or breaking hair. My hair is nowhere near extremely damaged, but I like to let my deep conditioner sit for a while (and I don’t like to sit under the dryer) so I'll try it there way, but I may let it sit on a little longer than that, and not use the dryer. Even with all the goodness in the Beautiful Textures products, I still might be tempted to add honey to this deep conditioner (because my hair loves it). I would definitely experiment to see if they mix well and if I won I’d even try the custom blends they suggest. I currently use the moisture butter and curl control and my hair absolutely loves them, so I think (and hope) the rest of their line plays nice with my hair too! :)

Trishanda Daniels-Cameron said...

I have to be totally honest...I dont know anything about this line other than the name. The inner product junkie in me wants to try everything that they offer to see what my hair would like. I had to slow down on buying new products because one, I cant afford it right now and 2, I had a bad reaction to conditioner and I had to step away from different products for a while. Well, I am ready to try something else cause I have rebuilt my hair and its ready (my hair) for something new,
BTW I love Boog with her big girl hair.
