I love the comb idea... I usually rely on bobby pins (not very effective) to keep my headband from rolling when I'm 'puffing'... perhaps this is the answer!

Very pretty. I can't wait to try this style in about 2 or 3 years when my hair might be long enough. :)

Thanks for this post. I needed this just for the part where she created the shape of the bun. I am always trying to do the donut type or the roll and tuck, and sometimes they work, other times they don't. I will definitely be trying the fold and pin, looks much simpler.

My band rolls, slides and twists. The comb idea is ingenious! Who is the model in the picture? She is GORG ~ looks like Shelli of Hairscapades and Dani of OKDani! Thanks for sharing this one. The high bun is a mainstay for me.

Co-sign... :)

I must insert a warning about those combs though for fine strands. I had to stop using them for my updos (tuck and rolls) because they were causing breakage. I'd rather use four hair pins (which I LOVE for updos) than one plastic or metal comb.

That is a super cute updo. I don't have enough hair for it just yet but its getting tossed in the TO DO arsenal for when I do. :)

She's such a doll! I would love to try this but I head is too big and i'm so afraid that band wont' stay put, even with the combs lol

Very cute. However, am I only one who couldn't hear her talking? I heard the intro music and then I didn't hear anything else. Just wanted to mention. Luckily, her style was so simple to do, so it's cool. I love it!
