I really love this Fusion of Cultures vid on Youtube. She shows you how to make a delicious shea butter mix and it's wonderful! My hair is beyond soft when I use it, so I just had to recommend it. I'm newly natural, just big chopped, and it's crazy trying to absorb all of these styling and care tips... so I just favorite everything that looks like it may work for me, lol! But this is one that has been tried and approved by my dry, 4c self. Hope y'all enjoy!

I use a similar shea butter recipe. Great stuff!
My shea butter mix is simply unrefined shea butter, tha whole 16 oz., burt's bees apricot baby oil, only 2oz., curljunkie curl rehab, the whole 8 oz., and sweet almond oil 2 oz. And my 4b 4c hair is moisturized till next wash day (a week). LOVE IT !
I have been meaning to make a whipped shea mix but I've been too lazy. I need to get on it. I know it'll be beneficial. thanks for sharing going to make some right now (^_^)
I plan on making my shea butter tonight! I had made some using Naptural85's recipe months ago, but I definitely need some more. Love this recipe, not a ton of ingredients and it looks simply amazing. I'm sure my hair will be well moisturized!
That is the biggest jug of olive oil I've ever seen lol
I love Laila-Jean!! I really miss her videos.
Oooh, I like this! Just wish my hair liked shea butter :-( b/c it luuuvs all of the rest of the ingredients you listed. Shoot!
LOL, I was thinking the same thing! Want it!
Love fusion of cultures! I have a Shea butter mix but don't really use it.
Try it with mango or cupuaću butter. That's what I do because I'm not a Shea fan either.
Me too!
You can get it from Costco, BJ's or Sam's Club
Wonderful video and beautiful hair - OMG I wish I had transitioned too, LOL!
ps. Please don't pipe your butters with a bag - it leaves so much in the bag! In the pharmacy where I used to work we used a spatula (similar to an offset spatula) to "pack" the ointment jar. It saves it all of your precious product - wastes none!
Sheabutter is a awsome recipe for our hair. And I would LOVE to have some of yours from your island.
I need to do this.
I would love to try your Shea butter mix. I have trouble with some products because of the ingredints.
I find that some things don't well in my hair b/c they claim 2 all natural.
Ive been meaning to try a shea mix great video
Have not tried Shea butter yet because my beauty supply store does not carry it or I seen the yellow butter looking one and got scared and decided not to purchase. Where can I purchase some Shea butter that is real Shea on the ground instead of online?
Dang, not a member of any of 'em! :-(
Oooo, good answer good answer *Family Feud clapping hands* Like it! Thanks!
This sounds really good!! Just emailed this to my personal addy to try at home!
how do you apply the mix? like a DC? like do you wash it out or just leave it in?
would love to win this bc I just need something that will make my hair soft and grow. Did a chop off over two years ago and it wont grow back, it sheds something terrible and stays dry not matter what I put in it. I would love to know where to get pure shea butter.
Naptuarl85 had a friend to suggest Butters-N-Bars.com. I've purchased from them a few times. I love the products, prices are fair and they always email coupon codes. The butters are definitely untreated/raw. I would just prefer not to pay shipping cost, so I'm always looking for a place in my home town.
