It's that time again! The images below are of CN readers at their flyyest...at work, on the town, and with the fam. Showing us all that natural hair is not a fad, it's a way of life...an extension of our beauty! Click on the images to enlarge them--
At times my hair does not want to work with me so on those days I wear my hair half up and the rest left down.
Hi, this is when I first showcased my curls. I'm loving my naturally curly hair! I flip flop between a press and natural.
The attached photo was taken at 4AM! I had to travel down to San Francisco (I live in Portland) for a meeting. This was achieved using a two strand twist-out. I twisted my freshly-washed/conditioned hair
on Monday and untwisted on Wednesday morning when this photo was taken. I fluffed my hair a bit, then parted and secured one side with a clip with the rest styled in place using Shea Moisture's Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Souffle Gel.
My husband and I attended a black tie enent in Chicago where I contemplated wearing a wig. But my husband hated it! Told me to rock my twa with confidence, so I did!
On the way to work, Jill Scott concert later!!! Twist out, Day 4! Maintained with chunkier twists at night.
Much love to you Nikki!!
On my way to my high school graduation!(: Had to do some coils so that the cap could fit my head.
This is me rockin a high puff and about to go enjoy this beautiful Chicago summer!
This is me on Father's day (this year) rocking a fro hawk!
This was my hair for Father's Day--we spent the day at church with my dad. =) I was channeling my inner Claire Huxtable lol This was done off of 3-day old Curlformer set, with my roots REALLY lightly pressed out.
Just got back from working out
