Third day hair can be elusive as all hell, but when you get it, boo... when you get it?! *hits shimmy*
I employed a semi-pineapple the last couple of nights (similar to what I was doing last summer) to maintain my wet set flat twist-out, wherein I shoved all of my hair into a satin bonnet-cap-situation. I didn't use a Goody band to secure my hair in a high, loose pony-- it was just pushed inside the sleep cap (purchased at Sally's), made to stand on top of my head and out of the way while I slept.
To coax it back down, I put a little oil on my hands, massage the roots, shake, shake, shake and pull it down. So far so great!
