CurlyNikki's #AskAway Monday

Hola Chicas!

It's Monday and I'm on the roof!  If you've got hurr, life (or whatever and what have you) questions, ask below!

I'll do my best to get to them all!

Later Gators,

the result of a chunky twist-out on dry hair (old roller set) using Jane Carter's Twist-Out Foam-- I was super impressed... great definition, shiny and not flaky or crunchy! I didn't add any water or any other product-- just one or two pumps per twist (I created 15 twists and rolled the ends on skinny flexi rods).  xoxo

Curlformer set on the Boogie using a little coconut oil + JC's Twist-Out Foam and Set it Free on the ends.  #OnTheGrow

Hi Nikki!

I live in hot/humid New Orleans and wash n go's have been my go to style (even though I am still trying to figure it out, lol) My question is how can I achieve a wash n go without using gel in this humidity? Do you have any recommendations on products that have hold but without the crunch of gel? When I try to just leave a lot of conditioner in it, in hopes of achieving hold without gel, I just end up with a frizzy mess. I have 3c/4a hair by the way. Looking forward to hearing your advice :-)!
