And thank you for the hair compliment :-)The temperature is usually between 370-380 degrees. My curls always come back and are ironically very defined! If not alone you could try it with another light oil of your choice...Experimentation does wonders ;)<br /><br />Anon1020: Wow, what a huge compliment :) Thank you so much. Moisturize those ends! The more moist your strands are the less they will tangle up on themselves causing them to knot. After my hair is clean I put my hair in four sections (two in the front and two in the back) parting my hair first straight down the middle of my head and then part from ear to ear...Then after taking smaller sections of hair I take my conditioner and smooth and squeeze it in my hair gently combing with my fingers or my jilbere comb followed by the denman from the ends to the roots after dividing my hair in smaller section...As I apply conditioner I twist the section I am working on in 12 twists(6 on each side) if they are bigger and for small twists I estimate that there are between 15-20 twists not sure the exact amount. I sleep in the twists usually and in the morning when I get in the shower I let the water run through my hair and gently untwist it as I am rinsing section by section. I run my hands down my hair shaft gently so to not disrupt the curl pattern and after I am all rinsed I apply my products which is usually PM the Conditioner followed by ECO clear gel or aloe vera gel...The Eco provides more hold than the aloe vera so if I want this style to last me I use ECO. I smooth the products through my hair by taking each section I am working on in the palm of my product filled hands and glide my hands in a downward motion to the ends. I don&#39;t touch it and just let it airdry. This style will usually last me 3-4 days or more...On the 4th day I may opt to wear it in a puff but usually I will just co-wash and bun it after that 3rd day of wearing it out. Here it goes:<br /><br />Anon927: My fotki is http://public.fotki.com/Musiclova<br /><br />Spiffy, girl, let me tell you...I have been to hell and back as far as my skin goes because I have had my bouts with acne so I won&#39;t tell you that I just wash my face with water and go and it&#39;s been that way forever! Eh Eh! Not me! But I do have a pretty simple and easy skin reggie so here tis: Every night I use the Oil Cleansing Method with extra-virgin olive oil and castor oil. I basically massage my face with the mix of the two oils to cleanse and then take a hot soaking wet washcloth and hold it on my face to let the steam work and gently wipe the oil away. I repeat this twice if I wore make-up that day. Nikki will post my thorough explanation of this method tomorrow so be sure to check it out :) After I remove the oil I don&#39;t do anything else usually but sometimes I may use a gentle cleanser afterwards and moisturize with my aloe vera gel/tea tree oil combo which is about a 1/2 tablespoon of aloe vera gel with two drops of tea tree essential oil. This is my natural moisturizer/acne gel ;) <br /><br />Every morning I cleanse with either Alba Botanica pineapple enzyme facial cleanser or Desert Essence Thorougly Clean Facial Wash with Tea Tree oil and Awapuhi (both can be purchased at a natural health food store like Whole Foods, Vitamin Shoppe and Walgreens, Walmart and Target sell Alba products)<br /><br />After cleansing in the shower, I apply a pea size amount of Oil of Olay all day moisture lotion SPF 15 for sensitive skin to my face and neck.<br /><br />Then if I choose to wear makeup/foundation I apply my Prescriptives mineral foundation which is very light and gives medium to full coverage after applying a concealer under my eyes and on blemishes...So honey yes I do have some imperfections going on but I don&#39;t have to use alot of concealer or foundation. I just use a small amount to even out my complexion. Some people say I don&#39;t need it but I have to realize that myself ;) Most of the time I use a mineral powder by Prescriptives which is extremely light but it gives a nice smooth finish and helps prevent that oily look. <br /><br />Every Sunday night or bi-weekly if I can find the time I apply a mask made from a small amount of Bentonite Clay (purchased from Whole Foods or Vitamin Shoppe) and 2-3 drops of peppermint essential oil mixed with distilled/filtered water. This is an excellent facial mask for me as it never fails just as my oil cleansing method. It draws the impurities from your skin and leaves it so soft and clean and shrinks your pores. I love it!<br /><br />That&#39;s pretty much it as far as my skin regimine is concerned :) I try to drink lots of water but could do better to be honest. I don&#39;t eat red meat and stay eating chicken, fish, turkey, and veggies. I don&#39;t eat fast food at all. Chik Fil A every now and then but not often. I don&#39;t drink alot of sodas but I love juice i.e. cranberry, apple, and Simply lemonade and I can&#39;t go without my green tea! My diet works for me but I wouldn&#39;t say it is perfect.
