Zhara this is my first time making any type of herbal tea. The relaxing properties in the tea is crazy!! OMG I have been drinking it for only two days now and OMG I am so relaxed all the time! This is good because i have been really stressed and jittery for the past year.I haven't really been getting a good night sleep because of stress I really didn't want to go see a doc because I am in the military and I know the first thing they would do was put me on meds... . This is a godsend!! oh yeah I hope my hair grows as well but i'm not even thinking about that i'm just so excited!!

I just recently gave up coffee and now drink tea. I just woke up one day and realized I'm Dunkin Donut'd out LOL This tea looks excellent! I'll probably put half in my hair, the other half in mah belly. Maua, this isn't anything new. Indian women have been doing this for centuries. @fabs, you can get the herbs in China Town. I lived in boston for 12 years. They sell plenty of leafy herbs, just ask around and they will point you in the right direction.

1.How often should you drink the tea?
As I mentioned you can drink it daily :)

2.links to sites where to buy the herbs?
mountainroseherbs.com is the only one I know of online. I actualy get the dried herbs fresh at local natural medicinal/herb store here in Vancouver so you could check your local area to see if they have a similar store in your city....

3.Recommendation for a good organic brand of green tea?
sorry I'm not a green tea drinker does any one else have a good suggestion???

4.This tea tastes great cold (like ICE TEA) but personally it definitley needs a natural sweetner if your going to use it cold with lemon!
i.e blended with medjool dates, honey or agave nectar...

5.This recipe makes 3-4 weeks of 1-2 cups of daily hair tea. Use less or more of a tablespoon for each serving, depending on how weak or strong you want it. I store it in a dark glass vitamin jar to preserve the nutrient properties in the tea leaves.

6.Just to make things clear no one is saying this is a miracle hair growth tea!!!! You can most definitley grow your hair without drinking the tea lol Like I said Healthy Nutrition and excercise should be the most important part of your hair care regimen. As i mentioned this tea has many health benefits other than just growing your hair.

The tea sounds good, but lets not take it as a miracle hair-growth type of thing. I agree that drinking tea has many benefits, but remember you need to get all of your other nutritional requirements from food and water. You can't eat McDonald's everyday and then drink this tea and wait for a miracle to happen. A healthy, balanced diet and healthy, thick, long hair take work and not just tea.

I own a small herb store and I will agree with Zhara to a certain extent. A diet that is well balanced with the essential nutients and minerals is best for the body. Your hair can grow without the tea ladies. Certain Teas can "temporarly" lower high blood pressure,cholesterol,relieve pain, and promote weight lose. Drinking natural teas also promotes drinking those eight cups of water we need. Know what the sideffects of each tea you drink, because they are some that can cause harm if don't drink the recommanded daily dose. Teas are full with antioxidants that protect the body from forming free radicals. Free radicals are atoms or groups of atoms that can damage the cells, impairing the immune system and leading to infections and various degenerative diseases. I highly advice Green tea mixed with mint is very refreshing and wakes you up in the morning. Black Tea helps with reduce cholesterol and the risk of coronary heart disease. Stay away from fake teas with added crap in them, stick to the natural leafy form. Research shows that most people who drink tea do not consume large amounts of soda or juice. White tea contains the powerful anti-oxidant that fights and kills cancer-causing cells, than any other type of tea. My grandmother is 68 years old and she;s drank tea her entire life, especially black tea and she sufferes from no seriouse medical illness.
Eat healthy and excercise, and you love the change inside and outside. Great tea Zhara!
