A True No Man's Land. These Women Founded a Women-Only Village in Kenya

Many women dream of what it would be like to live in a society with no men, free of patriarchy and all that comes with it...these women actually did it. Umoja is an all-female village in Kenya, founded by a woman named Rebecca Lolosoli, some 25 years ago. It consists of nearly 50 women who no longer want to suffer abuse. The place is doing so well that it's inspired neighboring villages to start their own women-only communities. Once you see how they live, you may want to do the same or at least purchase a one-way ticket to Kenya!

Meet Lauren Simmons, the Only Full-Time Female Stockbroker on Wall St.

Lauren Simmons is the only full-time female employee currently working as a stockbroker on the floor of the New York Exchange. She is also one of a few women in history to occupy a trading role, and according to the BBC, she joins a short list of women who have signed their names in the book containing the constitution of the New York Stock Exchange alongside the likes of John D. Rockefeller.

Forbes 30 under 30 list was started back in 2011 to recognize 600 business and industry figures all under the age of 30. Out of thousands of nominees this year, Marley Dias is one of the few people who landed on the list. At the age of 13, she is the youngest, but that doesn't mean that her achievements are negligible.
