If you’re looking for an outstanding deep treatment ladies…this is the one!!! I purchase from Whole Foods or Vitamin Shoppe for 8-10 dollars. It’s usually cheaper at Vitamin Shoppe. The consistency is VERY thick, so thick, that it’s a nuisance trying to get it out of the bottle. Although it lacks slip (my favorite thing in the world), the moisture it imparts is incomparable. I usually mix it with another conditioner that has considerable slip, so it doesn’t go on as rough. Hey, no product is perfect, and this one has a few flaws, but in the grand scheme of things, it’s a keeper. I’ve repurchased more than 15 times. I love this stuff and definitely recommend it!
Pros:
- Price
- Ingredients
- Feel of the hair upon rinsing
- Thick and creamy
Cons:
- Smell (I personally don’t care for it)
- No Slip :o( I’m a slip girl, this is why I mix it with Aubrey Organics White Camellia or Pantene R&N Deep Conditioning Mask
- Hard to get it out of the bottle- design flaw…I get a cramp in my hand every time.
-has anyone used this as a leave-in ?
Thanks !
i agree this stuff is hard to get out the bottle and the slip wasnt all that great for detangling and the smell is not all that either…my hair is moisturized so i cant complain…i might mix it with aowc on my next trip to whole foods…now that i think about it imma try to mix it with on of my cheapies that smell good and see what happens….
I love this conditioner, I mix mine with Jamaican Black Castor Oil.
I thought I was the only one who noticed how hard it was to get that stuff out of the bottle. It’s like butter. I have to take the top off and tap the bottle against my hand until it comes out.
I love this conditioner too…but wasn’t crazy about how my hair felt afterwards…I will try mixing w/ another conditioner… love your hair!
