-How long have you been natural?
6 years
-What is your regimen?
My hair routine is quite simple. I never apply heat, I use natural products, and manipulate my hair as little as possible. My fingers are my primary styling tools and I experience very little breakage. After getting suggestions from fellow hair twins, I finally found products that work with my hair. My hair is naturally dry, so finding moisturizing products was key. I installed a shower filter to combat the hard water in my city, found a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, purchased essential oils for spritzes and good glycerin-based products to keep my hair moisturized, strong, and healthy.
-What is the one thing you’d tell a newbie to help her on her journey? I’d tell her to find a good support system. It isn’t always easy going natural. Having someone in your real life or online, like Nappturality, can make the transition a lot easier. You’ll have someone to offer encouragement and give you haircare advice when needed.
-How do you maintain length?
I maintain length by keeping my ends dusted, low-manipulation, NO HEAT, and primarily using my fingers as my styling tool.
-What’s the best thing about being Naturally Glamorous?!
I no longer have to worry about sweating my hair out, so I’ve become much more active; swimming, running, biking, hiking, dancing, soccer, you name it. The change in my body and energy level has been phenomenal! I absolutely love my hair. I never get tired of looking at it or touching it and it continues to amaze me. How many women can say that, regardless of their ethnicity or background? In essence, having beautiful, healthy hair and body makes me feel Naturally Glamorous!

Your hair is gorgeous Aunapturelle and an inspiration to other 4B/c curlies. Please post what products you use – shampoo, DT and moisturisers. Thanks!
