I forgot to mention, as always, I leave in the DevaCare One. This is the water based moisturizer that I seal with the shea.

hi nikki my hair have'nt been growing for about 10 years now and im now trying to do something about it any suggestions.I thought weaving and braiding my hair would help it grow but nothing seems to work please help me!! by jj.
doing this TONIGHT after yoga…yay!
Very nice pictorial! Unfortunately, it's too late today to try it :(. Your hair is so gorgeous, Nikki!
is your hair natural tho cause even if i do all this stuff my hair wont hold or do like that ….
Wow how the heck did I miss this back in Dec? New Curly Girl, I’ve seen shea butter at Wholefoods for about $25. I buy it online because I really don’t trust a local store to sell 100% shea butter without any added ingredients.
Does anyone know of a chain store that sells shea butter? I’m have a hard time find any that is raw or unrefined. I live in St. Louis.
thanx!
Thanks for the tutorial. How could you achieve this style by adding hair – my hair is shorter.
Awesome Nikki, thanks!
Great tutorial! I’ll have to try the under the faucet technique π Just one question: How tightly (or loosely) are you wrapping the scrunchies?
I’m gonna give this a try… Gonna pick up some shea butter today!
I will be sure to try this on my next bun day. So much better than bunning wet. Oh yeah. I guess this should work under like a kitchen faucet also?
Curlynikki, I'm going to try this too. I'm having such success with the T&C. Thanks so much for this clear, succinct tutorial.
That is too cute. Great idea and it looks so simple.
Thanks soooo much, this tutorial is awesome! =)
I love it! Another style I must try…
As always, thanks for the support ladies π Your feedback and positive comments keep me going! ‘Cause trust me, I’m not too fond of making these videos, lol, its a lot of work!
jbutterfly, this would be a great style for a transitioner. You probably wouldn’t have to go through the last few steps of using the rollers- since your hair is already straighter on the ends.
For those of you that try this style and want to share it with other curlynikki.com readers, please send your results to nikki@curlynikki.com
I was going to say the same thing.. I love the song, as well as the style. I am falling in love with ponytails as a styling technique. Thanks for making this Nikki!
Wonderful tutorial Nikki and a great song choice!
I’m going to try this over the Christmas holidays.
Does this only work as a fully natural? I’m still transitioning.
This was great, I am going to try it tonight! π
Very inventive and creative! Thanks for the tutorial!
Excellent tutorial!
That was a great tutorial Nikki!
Thanks!!!! Now I know exactly what to do!
Thanks so much for posting this. I’ll try it this weekend and let you know how it turns out.
