Henna Saturday

By January 27th, 20212 Comments

So, I plan to Henna tonight after my 3 week hiatus. I’m going to do the regular…but probably DT before the henna application to get some moisture into my dry, dry strands. Protective styles are great, and time saving, but I have a hard time feeling motivated to moisturize like I should. When my hair is out, I can see it, and thus I think about it and apply a moisturizer regularly! I’ve been bunning for 3 weeks and I can count on one hand, the number of times I’ve taken the bun down to properly moisturize my delicate ends.

As you all know, I was excited to receive several of Miss Jessie’s products to try and review. Jane Carter followed suit, and sent me several products as well (4 of which I’ve never used). I have already tried and reviewed several of JC’s products, but I’ve decided to re-visit the Nourish and Shine. If you can remember, I gave the N&S rave reviews, and only complained about its rough application. Now that I’ve been using pure Shea Butter, the N&S feels like heaven! It’s definitely smoother and application should be a tad bit easier. The fragance is lovely too πŸ˜€

When I Twist-n-Curl (yes, I’m ditching the bun) this Sunday, I’m going to use the N&S like I usually use my beloved Shea Butter. I’ll let you know what I think!

I also plan to create a Henna Pictorial this weekend…we’ll see how productive I was come Monday πŸ˜€

I'm actually afraid to use the N&S like I use the shea butter because I know I will become addicted and use it even faster than I'm using it now!

I love Jane Carter’s Leave In Conditioner Spray! I haven’t tried anything else but I plan to run over to WholeFoods to re-up on my fav daily conditioner πŸ™‚
