Koffee’s Shea Moisture Shea Butter Leave-in

By January 27th, 20213 Comments

Koffee was the first winner of the CurlyNikki Cleaning Out My Closet Giveaway. She won a free bottle of SheaMoisture Shea Butter Leave-in, and I requested that she report back with a review. So, here you go:

Hey Nikki.

Sorry I took so long with the review (braids for the winter) I haven’t captured any photos.

The Shea Moisture smelled heavenly, pretty much as if one is vacationing on a tropical island. I tried it on damp hair and my hair felt soft and moistened up until it dried. Since everything is pretty much all trial and error, I decided to try adding Castor oil on top which made it softer and easier to comb thru, (detangling before I put in twists or braid it up…my hair is very thick). I’m still planning on trying other methods before I come to conclusions on this product and I’m too in love with the scent to put it down. Hopefully when the weather gets warmer and I’m wear my hair in a puff, the results will be positive.

Thanks again for the opportunity to try this product.

I've tried several products when I went natural in April 2008. This product has proven to be the best. My hair is very thick and course; this product (used with the sheamoisture shea butter shampoo) brings out the natural curl in my hair. My hair is very soft without looking dry. I'm hooked!

I absolutely LOOOOVE this stuff! Not only is the smell wonderful, but it gives my curls great hold and amazing definition. Lastly, my hair feels incredibly soft and light! The SheaMoisture gives my curls a look that I never knew they could acheive. I don’t know how I ever managed without this stuff…I’m so glad I stumbled across it.

It worked very well for me. I used it to twist my hair with(nothing else used except Jamaican Black Castor Oil on my ends) and my hair is still soft.
