Hi Nikki,
Thanks again for your amazing blog on curly hair! I have been natural twice in the last 9 years and in that time have had only four relaxers. So I have really been taking in your advice and looking at other sites to get info. I did the Twist-n-Curl set last night and liked it so much I thought I would share. I wash my hair every two weeks and keep in leave in conditioner – Pantene. To get this look, on dry hair, I oiled my parts with olive oil, and for each twist I put a dime size of the organic twist product and a dab of the shea butter. After I did the twists, I used the long rollers and rolled up my entire head using the thinner ones in the front and the bigger ones in back. 12 hours later, I unrolled it and separated the twists. Added some IC polisher and put in my headband.
This is good news for those of us who are blessed with 4c hair!
Thanks again!
WOw!!! Get it Lenora!
Thanks for the tip regarding the coconut oil!
Your hair is very cute, if you want more shine, when hair is dry and you are taking out rods rub some raw coconut oil in you hand and over hair
Loves it!! Been waiting to see someone with kinkier hair try this!! I will try next week!!!
I purchased the Loc and Twist at a local beauty supply store in Tacoma on Bridgeport Way. It smells good. I didn’t use paper on the rollers and rolled from the ends. My hair is very very very curly.
Thanks
very nice !
I like this style 🙂
Very cute! Where did you get the Loc and Twist and Braid Butter? Does it smell like sulfur? Did you roll just the ends or all the way to the root? ANd did you use end papers?
Daaang that is some CURLY hair. Looks great, though! Lovin’ these results.
Great results!
