I've been considering doing a curly meetup here in Los Angeles..we don't have any going on and it would be kinda fun to have people discuss their hair triumphs and hair woes. =)

Yes, please bring your used or gently used product(s) that either your curls didn't like, or product that your curls loved so much that you want to spread the word. We were hoping to keep it fair by assigning each product a number and to have all curlies draw a number from a hat. If you still get a product that you know your curls won't like you may be able to work a deal/swap with another fellow curlie.

I feel silly for asking this but how does a swap work? Do you bring 'gently used' products that you tried and maybe didn't like? Do you buy new versions of things you DO like to introduce to other people? What's the Swap Etiquette?

Wow! I've been thinking about how nice it would be to have a meetup like this in the area, et voila! one exists. I don't usually do Saturday nights out, preferring to spend that time preparing for church the next day, but if the time is not too late, I am interested in meeting all of you at Vic's. Don't know about the lounge afterward, though, especially if I have to be a member to go. If any of you live in North Raleigh and would like to share a ride at least one way, I'm interested in this as well.
