This is the condish I use for my protein treatments. I use it once a month. Loves it. Other protein treatments make my hair feel a little hard. Not this.

    Hey Nikki,

I want to add a little protein to my regimen, but I'm just going to buy this conditioner because I can't handle too much protein (I had a bad experience with an aphogee treatment in HS that broke all of my hair out)

how often would you suggest I use the AO GPB if I can't really tell based on how my hair is acting. Once a month? I don't really have shedding, I just want to do a quick cowash with it since I don't really use protein in anything else.

I like the GPB conditioner but I now use the swimmer's conditioner. It is the vegan version of the GPB.

Just love your hair. I'm just starting out (June 08) and have tree braids in right now. Will do my first henna in about a week or two. I would love it if you could do your top 5 protein conditioners and your top 5 moisturizing conditioners. Thanx;-)

This is my favorite protein conditioner. I have two bottles sitting under my sink as I speak/type. My hair feels stronger, soft, and hydrated after each application. It is definitely a staple of mines. I just wish it came in a jar/tub instead of a bottle due to its thick consistency.

    I love this conditioner!

Could you do an article on Ayurvedic oils? I know doing Henna treatments and using Amla, Jasmine, Lavender, and Neem oils together is supposed to make the hair thicker and promote growth. I'm new at using Henna and I wanted to try Amla oil but I'm not sure where to buy it. I bought my Henna from a health store and it's "Rainbow Henna" Colorless conditioner.
