okay i wanted to say i love your blog i think its great. this blog and a few other natural hair blogs have been so supportive to us naturals. for me being natural i love it but the support that i get from my own family is something else. i mean like my grandmother she would say things like "can you get a comb through it" or "why would you go natural. you had such long hair and it was pretty." then my mom would say to hair friend when i would ask her touch it to feel how to soft it is. she would then say to her firend "look how nappy it is" stuff like that hurts me and sometimes i wish i had someone that was natural to relate and to share tips and ideas with, but its just me and to blogs i turn to. also even when i try to tell them things i learned from sites like your and others. she would say don't belive them or you don't have the hair texture or you don't have soft hair. i can tell her water is moisturizing and she'll and my step dad would say no its drying to your hair and that's probably why your hair will never grow. i know my hair is growing and i know the tips like your site others are help people like us who don't know how to grow natural hair because we never seen it before or was never taught or was taught wrong. i not going to give up on natural hair. I absolutely luv it. It's beautiful. it's sooo easy to care for i sometimes wish i could have did it a long time ago. I can't wait to prove everyone wrong. natural hair can grow and a it's beautiful.
Again thank for having a site that teaches and supports natural hair. sorry this was long i just had to get it out some way.
