CN: How long have you been natural?
Before my first relaxer in 1995, I was natural for 10 years. I did the big chop May 2005. Post 2005, I have been natural for 4 years.
CN: What is your current regimen?
My current hair regimen is as follows: Shampoo, condition, and blowdry my hair every 2 to 4 weeks, then style however I want it! Twists, Twistout, Braidout, Cornrolls, Bun, Afro, Afro Puff, Mohawk, or Flat-ironed Straight. Sometimes, I will go without blowdrying my hair and still do a variety of styles with my natural hair. I always use a heat protecterant.
CN: How do you maintain length? Moisture?
To maintain length, I avoid excessive/rough manipulation and combing. For moisture, I use Aussie Moist Conditioner and a bit of oil. When my hair is straightened, I use grease or oil sheen spray.
CN: How do you protect your curls a night?
When I am wearing my hair in it’s natural state, I will use 6 flexirods on my hair and tie a satin scarf over my hair at night. When I wear my hair straightened, I will just gather all my hair on top of my head into a loose bun and wear a satin scarf.
CN: What would you tell a new natural, or transitioning diva?
To a new natural, enjoy, have fun, and take good care of your hair. Stay natural and do not worry about what anyone thinks whatsoever! To a transitioning diva, go for it! Do not give up! If all else fails, cut off the relaxed hair and be free!
CN: What’s the best thing about being naturally glamorous?
The best thing about being naturally glamorous is the versatility of styling natural hair.
If you have a fotki account, make a request for her password in her fotki guestbook.

Love your hair too! Can I have your fotki password. I would love to blow dry my hair every once and awhile but I am so scared of heat damage.
Thanks for sharing. Your hair is gorgeous. One thing; I tried to look at your fotki pics but thet are password protected. 🙁
First Off your hair is beautiful and thank you so much for sharing your regimin with us. I really appreciate you sharing your products with us aswell.
I have read on so many blogs and sites about whats good for your hair and whats considered "bad products" and to stay away from them (grease and Oil sheen). For a minute I stopped using some of my favorite products b/c someone said it was bad!
The more I research the more I find that I must use things that I luv and that my hair luvs.
Thanks again for sharing and can I have the PS for your Fotki. 🙂
