Hola Chicas!
Merry Christmas Eve π
Assuming you’ve completed all of your errands, gift buying, and cleaning up, what do you plan to do to your hair tonight? Is it already styled and ready to go?
I’m braided up for Midnight Mass tonight, and will wear the same dry braid-n-curl on Christmas day too! So…
1. What are your Christmas hair plans?
2. Send a pic brief description of your style if you get time tomorrow for Show&Tell!
Later Gators,
Nik
At the end of the album are pics of my "Holiday Hair"…

I wasn't sure how to send a picture of the final product to you, so I posted them on flickr and added my response to my blog. I provided the links below:

OMG….I just cut off all of my hair!!!
I was just tired of faking it. It is what it is. My husband likes it. I am running off of adrenaline right now. We shall see what the morning brings. Thanks for all of the love, help, ideas and support.
I didn't have plans but I ended up using KCCC and going for a curly look with my kinky hair. We shall see how it turns out this time. Merry Christmas! And CONGRATS! @The Way God Made ME.
Hey Nikki! I tried the braid out routine you posted recently. I actually still have the braids and rollers in. Will take it down soon. I deep conditioned with olive oil. My hair is so soft. Cant wait to see the final product.
Hmmmm…trying to decide if my CHRISTmas present to myself will be the BC.
Merry Christmas, Nikki! I did a wet twist out on Wednesday and will be taking it down in just a few hours as company starts to arrive π
Newly natural and loving it! Hoping the extended family loves it too.
happy bday Safiyah!! I will we trying out twist-n-curl set #2.. I have been wearing it for 2 days, so I hope that it is well defined!
I'm debating if I'm going to leave my braids in or do a braid out. The braids have been in since Saturday, but I think it may rain tomorrow.
since I did all my prep work for my CHRISTmas dinner, I'm about to jumo in the shower and co-wash my hair. I'm gonna braid it up (lots of braids) and roll the ends, un-braid in the a.m. & on with my day.
about to cowash with a clarifying conditioner, detangle, moisturize my scalp with JBCO, hit my ends with a shea butter/coconut oil combo and then braid put it in 4 braids to dry….tomorrow i'll take the braids out and throw my hair in a messy bun
I did a co-wash and braid/plaits Tuesday night. Just two plaits. One on each side. Let them out the next day. I'm still wearing that. Will re-braid or re-plait –with just a bit of coconut oil- tonight and wear out again tomorrow. Love the simplicity and endurance of my winter braid-outs.
My hair is currently in finger coils. I will be rocking a coil out for Christmas.
I've had my hair in twists for two days (done on dry hair with Afroveda shea amla butter and Qhemet Biologics honey hydrating balm), so I'll take those out for a twistout.
Happy Birthday Saffiyah…
I will be getting my hair braided (corn-rolled) tonight and wearing them loose tomorrow. I intend on setting with my jojoba oil and IC leave in mixture…it always gives me body without being dry looking.
even though i dont celebrate holidays esp. christmas, i will be wearing my 4 day old twists in a bun with a hair clip in the front
Hey!Well tomorrow is my bday and I am rocking a twa…but what I plan on doing is a finger coil with a cute headband. I hope everyone enjoys tomorrow!
I did my first co-wash today and I now have my hair braided for tomorrow ~ Christmas day. I'll take the braids out, put a little Proclaim 7 into my hands and run it through my hair. I have dual textures so nothing too strenuous here.
Sadly, I had a bit of a hair disaster in the last week (discovered, the hard way, that I'm protein sensitive). So my holiday hair is all about much protection, love and moisture for my poor strands. I did a DT earlier today and just braided my hair into cornrows which I'll keep in for about a week.
I plan on flat twisting the front and rodding the back for spiral curls π Sitting with coconut oil, olive oil, and some shea butter conditioner right now under a shower cap and will rinse that all out later and get to styling.
