I celebrated my birthday and 6 months being natural this week! This year has definitely been a learning process and I’m loving it! Thanks for sharing information and your wonderful passion for healthy hair. The first pic is right after the BC, and second is from this week!

Sheena:
I went out with some of the girls for my birthday dinner earlier this week. This was a wash n go.

Tia:
This is me at my job’s holiday party last weekend. My hair was on it’s last day of a roller set that I decided to flat twist. It was raining that entire day and my hair kept getting bigger and bigger and I was loving it more and more.

Crystal:
I hope all is well. This is my 2nd attempt at a twist and curl. This was taken on my birthday last month. I used Garnier Sleek and Shine Conditioner mixed with Lotta Body setting lotion, coconut oil and sponge rollers. I left the twists in for about 24 hours since they weren’t dry in the morning.

CurlyNikki:
This is my dry braid-out from last weekend’s meetup. I braided dry with a little shea butter, and spritzed the braids with a watered down conditioner mix (mostly water, a little Desert Essence Green Apple) to help it set. I left them in over night and released. I set the ends on rollers.

Here is a picture of my 5 year old daughter Laila with a chunky twist out. I tried to do the twist and curl but she couldn’t handle the rollers. I follow your blog, and love all of the product reviews!
