Thanks so much. You do not know how much I need to see that video today. I love my hair…I'm sick of my TWA! I bc'd on 01/15/10 and it's at that weird stage….it's growing though. I needed some inspiration. Thanks so much!!!
Anonymous #2: I BC'd on 1/16/10. My hair grows REALLY fast so I had a good sized 'fro going. I decided I needed a little trim & went in the other day. Needless to say my stylist go scissor happy & cut WAY too much. So I'm back to a slightly lengthy TWA. But the thing is, she shaped & styled it so that it's fuller on the top so it's not even a round afro lol.
I can rock with alot of these styles though. I just know to watch it the next time I get a trim. I'm sooo ready to grow my hair back out (I was BSL before) but learning new cute styles makes me feel more at ease w/my shorter hair.
Great video…I love your styles. im past the twa stage but am contending with two different types of hair. I need help here in Dallas. Some of your styles look like comb twists. are they? love the music you just simply look great
ok, now i'm not so afraid to do "the big chop". those styles look great & i love the flower headbands.looking forward to my cut this weekend! that's also a great song!
Wow, this video really helped me. Ijust BC'd Jan 3,2011 and have already gotten tired of the headband look. Now, I have some options to try, just gotta get some accessories.
This video helped me also! Love it! I'm 7months natural so I'm at that point where it's at a weird length, but I love my hair, and I'm exploring. Join my journey http://www.naturalshren.blogspot.com
I know I'm commenting on this a bit late, but thank you for posting this. I was feeling really down today. I took my twist extensions out and decided to just embrace my natural hair. The problem is, it's not at the length that I desire, so I was starting to feel depressed (I look like a boy, I feel unattractive), but this video made me feel so much better.
Thank you for posting this. I realize that I have a lot of insecurities about my hair being short that I need to conquer. But the reason I took out my extensions is because I know my hair will grow even faster without all of that fake hair in it.
If I treat my hair with the love and respect it deserves, and start loving myself for who I am, all will fall into place.
I grew my hair out before I decided to cut the perm out. It was hard for me to work with two different textures. It took me some time to get used to having short hair, but I am definitely now loving being natural.
This post was EXACTLY what I needed. I just wonder what products you use. Or anyone on here for that matter. I use the Kinky Curly Curling Custard and I love it, but I am always looking for something new to try.
Thank you so much for the video….Amazing!!! Right now I am on my 2nd week of the Big Chop I cannot wait until I get some length….I have about 1 1/2 inches of hair right now…..So this is definitely going in the favorite folder!!!! Inspiration!!!!
