Hola chicas!
It’s that time again! The images below are of CN readers at their flyyest…at work, on the town, and with the fam. Showing us all that natural hair is not a fad, it’s a way of life…an extension of our beauty! Click on the images to enlarge them:
Here’s my ‘do as I head to my nephew’s awards day. This is my 2nd try of your TNC method – LUV it! I retwist each night and put a little olive oil on the ends or spritz with water before rolling. I will wash/condition and redo tomorrow after swimming. Looking forward to trying Say Yes to Cucumber conditioner and seeing how the next one comes out.

Me headed to work wearing my signature style: twists pinned up into a faux up-do!

I actually wore my hair in this twist out this past Friday because I love twist outs so much!!

On this night, I was heading out for drinks with my home girl. I was so feeling myself and my braid out 🙂

On my way to church. I’ve been transitioning for about 5 months now. I made 11 or 12 flat twists the night before using Organic Root Smooth and Hold Pudding. Love it! I got so many compliments. My hubby even took this picture because he liked the way it looked 😉

HAPPY FRIDAY!!

I had gone out to a new club with my cousin and took this picture with my EX-Boyfriend. I know he doesn’t look like my EX in this picture but… hey maybe he’s my next too, lol!
Hi Nikki. This is a pic of a twist n curl that I did. I washed and conditioned my hair, then I used Shikai Everyday Conditioner with Amla as a leave in,then used the setting lotion recipe from your website to set my twist. I added shea butter to the ends then set on rods. I took the rods out the next day but wore the twist for the remainder of the day. The following day I took my twist down and this is the results I got. Very Soft and defined curls. Mucho Gusto comments were given on this style.

Send in your favorite picture with a caption detailing where you were (or where you were headed to), along with a brief description of your hairstyle, to nikki@curlynikki.com. I’ll post several each Friday. Be sure to use ‘Fierce Friday’ as the subject line!
We need more for next week!
