It’s that time again! The images below are of CN readers at their flyyest…at work, on the town, and with the fam. Showing us all that natural hair is not a fad, it’s a way of life…an extension of our beauty! Click on the images to enlarge them:
I did the baggy conditioner overnight with my usual suspects. My hair was totally dry on this pic and soft as ever! I’m finally falling in love with my hair!!!!
I am rocking my curly fro (a bantu knot, twist out —-yes, it can be done on short hair). I am at my mom’s house waiting for her to get ready so that she and I could spend the day together.
Rocking my puff with a fresh prego glow while celebrating my hubby’s commissioning!
This picture was taken several weeks ago when I was going to the Ladies Night Premiere of Sex and the City 2. I was rocking a second day wash and go. I used a leave in conditioner and some olive oil.
This wasn’t taken on Friday..but I think it’s fierce if I may so say myself!!
At first, I was hooked on the twist outs; now, I’m loving the wash and go!
This is a mohawk with small braids on the sides… I left the middle free. The girls and I went out for a night on the town. And yes, that is Elmo’s Kitchen in the background (It’s my nieces).
This is me rocking my signature hairstyle that I call, “The Doo”
My sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha, is celebrating our 64th International Boule Convention, in St. Louis, MO. My current city of residence. Natural sisters are everywhere! This picture is me on my way to an Alpha Phi Alpha party. I’m 7 months post BC so I’m in the in between stage. Right here is my go to hairstyle, the puff. My hair is freshly washed and air dried. I used Eco-Styler Olive Oil Gel to put my hair up and used Coconut Oil with Darcy’s Botanicals Curling Jelly and was out the door! Of course I have the signature flower in the hair!
Send in your favorite picture with a caption detailing where you were (or where you were headed to), along with a brief description of your hairstyle, to firstname.lastname@example.org. I’ll post several each Friday. Be sure to use ‘Fierce Friday’ as the subject line!
We need more for next week!
