i mix honey into every deep treatment.i love it
I am trying mixing for the first time! I mixed shea butter, honey, olive oil, and vitamin E….will keep everyone posted on the results!
I've done honey as a DC and as a pre-poo, and it's great. The warming part is key, though…or you get a sticky mess. :-/

I have been using honey and coconut oil since I took my locs down 1.5 years ago. I use it as a pre-poo treatment.
I use avocado oil instead of olive oil, and man o man it made my hair feel incredibly soft!!! Twenty million thumbs up!
i tried honey in my deep conditioner last time and OH MY GOD my hair has never been this soft. everyone should try it! I used trader joe's conditioner, olive oil, coconut oil, and honey. i didn't measure, you dont really need to measure, just make enough for it to SATURATE your hair. My hair would laugh at 1tbs honey and 1 tbs olive oil. that would only be enough for a very very small twa.
At first I thought.. won't that be sticky???
Then I realized that it was only 1Tbs.
I'll be trying this tomorrow.

I've seen so much about using honey as a mixture to condition hair. It seems sticky, however I'm glad that someone explained that it's good to heat it. I'm going to add this to my list of new things to try. Thanks for sharing.
