Want to go natural without doing the Big Chop? The alternative is called transitioning, where you grow out your natural texture for any period of time before cutting the processed or damaged ends off.
Check out THESE TIPS to get started!
I been short now for little over a month, because of chemical damage. I tried to slow walk my hair back to health but nothing seem to be working. My hair wouldn't even hold a style or sheen so I went chop chop. Now I'm in between keepin it natural or goin back to relaxing it. Just thinking about what my hair put my mom through when I was a child, the towel drying, combing out and then big braids or straighten n curl. Not sure if I'm ready for that again even though they have blow dryers now n the different hair products to help; although it's no different in keepin up with a relaxer (same difference). I guess I've just become attached to the relaxers where if push came to shove I would just pull it up into a ponytail. My hair is a major part of me so this matters to me even more now at my age. I feel the way my hair looks and at times this can be depressing. Open for suggestions. Jacque'
HEY…..Im a college student so to cut down on spending money on getting relaxers, ive decided to go natural. ive been transitioning for 6 months now and i would just like to get some hair style ideas because im running out. Its sort of difficult getting both the relaxed hair and my natural hair to behave together.
This post is very helpful and informative post for us i like this.
Keep going on i like this interesting blog post.
I've been transitioning for 9 months now, and i have a real simple routine. All i do is spray my hair with a curl activator "Luster's S curl"
at night and cover it with a silk scarve. In the morining i wet the hair with a spray bottle and add Totally Twisted hair gel and scrunch.
