Oh… and this item is available in the CurlMart on NaturallyCurly.com, but the shipping was cheaper, so I bought it directly from the manufacturer.

I LOVE OYIN BURNT SUGAR POMADE! My only problem was developing the discipline to use it sparingly. My first experiment was with a roller set (my staple hairdo). Due to the smell-goodliness of this product, I was a bit heavy handed, so my style wasn't didn't have it's usual bounce or staying power.

But it's excellent at taming edges & kitchens.

i also live in Bmore and can preach on how awesome Oyin is. definitely worth the S&H ladies. BTW, you CAN eat the burnt sugar pomade (and other products) if you are so inclined. they are made of all natural ingredients and herbs. i've been in the kitchen with them. the pomade also makes a good lip balm in a pinch. okay, i'm rambling…

I have purchased this product and I love the shine and smell it gives my hair. However, is anyone else shelfing this product for the winter since it is described as a humectant?

She is hilarious. I was watching this is in the kitchen and had to share it with my mom because she couldn't understand why I was laughing so much. "This is not a moisturizer since there is no water."

She is a HOT MESS in the best sense possible! OMG. I couldn't stop smiling at her wonderful sense of humor. I'll have to check out her other videos. In regards to the Burnt Sugar pomade, I purchased it recently and have been trying it out versus CURLS's whipped cream and Carol's Daughter Honey Mimosa stuff versus my own whipped shea/cocoa mix. I'm just testing to see how they work with my curls. The Burnt Sugar smells great and my hair remained soft, but it didn't wow me like my own mixture. Oh well. I still use it every now and then.

Lol wth! I dont know if she liked it or not. Maybe I was distracted by her humor.

She is to funny! I think I am going to try this. Last winter I didn't have enough hair to worry about protective styling, and it tends to be a bit dry where I like. It sounds like this would be great for sealing my ends if I want to wear my hair out.

I live near Baltimore and i have been to Oyin a few times in the last few months! I love the Burnt sugar and the Whipped Shea Butter!!! I use the Whipped Shea for moisture and the Burnt Sugar to seal me ends! It is great and smells wonderful!!! I am addicted!
    Great video!!

It's definitely moisturizing and one of my staple products. Ironically, I started using it last winter and I'm on my second jar (a little goes a long way). Coupon codes are available on oyin's website, if you decide to order online.

dnt wait til winter is over…its even better NOW!! its so moisturizing! matter of fact, i plan on using it this week. i've paired it w/the honey hemp condish as a DC and i've also used it w/Darcy's vanilla creme for a combo! its never let me down. i actually had to put it down becuz within the first month i had it, i used half the jar, so needless to say i WILL be upgrading!
