Hola chicas!

It’s that time again! The images below are of CN readers at their flyyest…at work, on the town, and with the fam. Showing us all that natural hair is not a fad, it’s a way of life…an extension of our beauty! Click on the images to enlarge them:

Baby G
Last night… watching momma twist her hair.

I was out with family in Beverly Hills, California, when I noticed a perfect photo opportunity.

Congrats on the new baby, I am a new mum too so I can feel your joy :-).
Heading out to a restaurant with baby D. I did a twist out with flat braids on the side.
I was on my way to work and really feeling my mohawk with my brand new, versatile Devacut. They used Set It Free mixed with Heaven In Hair scrunched into my hair before I went under the dryer. I used one comb on each side to get this easy mohawk.

Day 2 of a braid-out done on damp hair with Garnier Sleek and Shine. From 5 years loced to loose!
This picture was taken at a girls night out event at a local boutique. I used Knot Today and KCCC. I was 14 months post big chop.

This was my first ever twist-out! I bc’d on 7/2/10 and finally had enough growth to attempt it. I was headed to run some errands in between writing midterms.

I am on my way to the beach in this photo and I cornrowed the sides and back in a funky design and did two strand twists on top using Taliah Waajid’s Crinkles & Curls Styling Lotion on wet hair (this style was about a week and a half old in the pic). This style lasted about 3 weeks, the top eventually turned into a twist out.
This is a picture of me wearing a two-strand twist out for a Dean’s List celebration @ my daughter’s college. I wore my hair in two-strand twists for about a week and then took them down and moisturized with B&B Moisturizing Cream and coconut oil. Got tons of compliments and my daughter loved it! The huge grin is because I was so proud of my daughter for making the Dean’s List 😉

Here is a snapshot of myself before heading out for cocktails with the girls. It was my first time experimenting with a flexi-rod set and I’ve gotta say, I was pleased with the results. My hair was uber soft and had a nice natural sheen to it!

My hair at the end of a long day of classes. Crazy shrinkage! But I think it still looks good. I parted the middle, made seven flat twists and rodded the ends. I used water and pomade to tie down my edges.

**If you don’t see yourself today, rest assured that you’ll be up in the coming weeks! I post in the order I receive them!**
