Greetings from London to all!
I know it’s been a while since my Tales of a Current Transitioner was featured, but I’m still going strong with my transition. I also started making Youtube videos and wanted to share this tutorial with all the beautiful Guys & Dolls on CurlyNikki.com. It’s really cute and easy to adapt to any hair type and length.
Super cute. I like it a lot.
Very cute. And i love the nails!
Adorable and stylish! Textured hair looks so very beautiful in updos. Also, I was watching an episode of the UK show Misfits last night (I think it was epi 6 or 7) and a sister on there (the one who can teleport) wears the most amazingly beautiful rolled updos. Laila if you get a chance to see this past Thursday's show and can do a tut please do!
That was awesome! I always wanted to know how to do the twist up the back. Thanks.
Laila, I love your style!
Cute! I need to step my updo game up, 11 mths transitioning! 🙂
That was super cute and i loe that she got a close up on the nails! i'm def going to try something similar to this
Ladies,I read a post a while ago at Serenity 3–0 and all of my twist out have become so much better. After you have washed/ co-washed your hair, make your final rinse a cold rinse then put on your leave in conditioner. The cold rinse closes your hair cuticle which will keep in moisture and this is critical. Put oil on your hair esp. on your ends to seal your ends then product throught your hair and then twist. Your twist will be tighter and they will stay. Keep your hands out of your hair unless you are fluffing it out. My hair lasts for a wk. and the curls stay.

The updo is so stylish and unique, reminds of something Janelle Monae would do. I love how Laila creates such unique styles that don't take forever to do. Thanks for the inspiration.
Aw, I love Laila. Super cute style hun!
