Thanks for this tip. I forgot about the banding method! Will definitely have to try that now that my hair is pretty long. I usually stretch it by putting it in a ponytail or twisting/braiding in a few big sections. ~KF519
Definitely a braidout…lasts 3-4 days wearing it out then a can get a couple more days in a puff before I co-wash. (only because I workout4-6 days a week). Works well with it being winter. Love my KCKT or Giovanni Direct as leave ins and then I add either Texture Playground Curl Nurture Cream or Anita Grant Coco latte butter on each individual braid. I usually do about 20 small to medium braids (I have thick med texture hair), sit under a hooded dryer for a hour and go to bed. when I wake up my hair is usually dry and then I use Sallys argan oil to take each braid out and gently fluff!!!
Beautiful hair! Thanks for sharing this with us Nikki!
Quick question, I love the song that's playing, but I can't think of the name of it to save my life. Can anyone help me out? And let me know who it's by?
Love your braiding routine and thanks for sharing. I never thought about banding my hair before doing a braid out, but I will definitely give it a try. Truly appreciate the video tip.
I usually do twistouts but this made me want to try a braidout to see what results I get. Her hair is absolutely beautiful. I wonder what type of oil that is she was applying.
The tips are great too. I find that regular braidouts (i.e. 10-12 braids) leaves my fine hair looking too crinkly for my taste. I will definitely be trying with bigger and fewer braids!
I love the ends, but the roots got to streched and didn't mach with the rest of the hair.
Beautiful hair by the way! ~KF519

Such healthly hair, I aspire to having as healthy hair as yours, and thick too.
You've got a really nice hair. It looks so shiny and healthy.
