5 Wacky Beauty Tips That Work!
Alyssa of NaturallyCurly writes:

Women are constantly being told different tips that we want to believe will work, but rarely do. However, we have put together a list of 5 tips that might seem wacky but are proven to work wonders.

  1. Heat your eyelash curler: If you have stick-straight eyelashes one of the best ways to curl them is to heat your eyelash curler with a hair dryer for 5-8 seconds. Heating it will act like a curling iron and that paired with waterproof mascara (which dries faster) will give you perfect eyelashes.
  2. Freeze your eyeliner: Do you have issues with you eyeliner crumbling the second you attempt to put it on? If you are thinking, “Yes! Every morning!” then this trick is just for you. Fifteen minutes before you begin to put on your makeup, stick your eyeliner in the freezer, and when you are ready to apply, it will go on easier than ever.
  3. Shave with conditioner: If you run out of shaving cream, grab conditioner instead of soap for your backup. The conditioner will soften the hair making shaving much easier and it will also leave your legs silky smooth. Also remember that the thicker the conditioner the less you need to use so you won’t feel like you are wasting it.

I remember reading a fiction story about a girl in Russia. She asked her grandmother what she did to keep her breasts perky and firm. She said that she soaked them in ice water every night for I think 30 minutes. Hmmmm…. based on what's stated about it helping wrinkles and such…. could this work?

I read a magazine interview where the late fabulous Delaney sisters (Having our say – the First 100 years) listed "vaseline" as one of their beauty secrets.

I added vaseline to my nightly moisturinzing regimen, and later switched to Alba Un-Petroleum jelly as an alternative.

I look in the mirror and squint – each "crows-foot" and undereye wrinkle gets a tiny dab.

I also apply it to my lips and "marionette lines" (naso-labial folds).

Pay special attention to your neck and the backs of your hands. If you don't believe me, look in the mirror with the back of your hands beside your face – notice the difference in the skin color/texture.

    It works – praise Him!

    #3 and #5 works

after washing you face in the morning and at night, do a cold/ice water rinse. it tightens your pores and works in the long run to prevent wrinkles. i know 60 yr old women who look almost half their age because of this tip.

Hey ladies, there is one that they didn't mention concerning mascara. I learned this a long time ago, but when you put on your mascara to really make those lashes look long (you know like the really expensive brands claim to do) remember that lashes have four sides. Swipe left and right, THEN top and bottom. You'll see the difference! 😉

The one about heating your eyelash curler is a disaster waiting to happen. Just using the eyelash curler as is is good enough to curl lashes. But I guess if you're adventurous, go ahead . . .
