@ Khalilah, your little one reminds me of my oldest son when he was a baby! (He's twenty-five now). He had bright red curls just like your little one! We have several red-heads and many sandy brown heads in our family. My oldest's hair color has faded in color over time, it's more of an auburn color now. But, when he's out in the sun, it looks pretty bright, still – LOL. Oh, and he has freckles as well, LOL!

Sorry I typed so fast I did see it spelled the same as I spell it, Khalilah. Need to double check my post next time LOL. I got teased also growing up about my name use to ask my mom why she named me that. My son is named directly after me, but I've seen it spelled a few other ways also. He's just too cute, your little man.

Thank you all for your comments. He inherited it from my mothers side of the family….we have about 6 red heads in our family. We have such beautiful children and they are on the right path to be raised learning self respect for who there are naturally. Love you all!!!
@ Anonymous 7:34, my name is spelled Khalilah, but I named my son after Kahlil Gibran, so it's spelled that way instead. Did you know that they have a facebook paged called My Name is Khalilah? It's soooooo funny to see so many sistas with that name, and I used to get so teased about it :o)
@ Kahlilah…..It is not often that i see Khalilah spelled this way. Thats is how i spell my name and my son's (oldest) name is Khalil also. @ Monica….Funny thing my youngest son's name is Kai.Hope you guys know the meanings it is awesome when your boys get older to be able to tell them what there names mean. Makes them feel extra special. All the babies were cute.
Oh my goodness all of these babies are gorgeous. Loving all the natural heads and styles. The 1st baby picture and last picture, they kinda look alike a little bit. Oh have you guys seen the new Gerber baby?, I'm watching Inside Edition and it's a little black girl with natural hair and she is a cutie pie. Her name is Mercy Townsend and she is 2years old.

I love the baby segment! I'm expecting my first child in May (it's a girl). Can you do a few posts on hair products for curly babies. The limit of my knowledge is to use baby shampoo. I'm not sure what products people prefer to use in their baby's hair. I'm assuming much lighter products than they use in their own hair.

It is so awesome to see a baby with out some weave or a lacefront already into place..(REAL TALK) I dont have any children, but if i did, the natural curls would be on and POPPIN! Who is to say that little boys have to have low cuts anymore! I LOVE IT!! Keep showing the photos Nikki. W

All these adorable babies!!! And all this red hair! My mother says her father (who died before I was born) had red hair and freckles, so hopefully I have some redhead genes in me…I would be so tickled if I had an adorable redhead baby. I think this new segment might be a bit much for my ovaries. I'm not ready for a baby yet and y'alls gorgeous kids are making me want one!
