Enjoying tub time (finally!) and giving Rubber Ducky hell.
This is me heading out to date night with the hubs. I am sporting a 2 strand twist-out using the Oyin Whipped Pudding and Shine and Define.
For our family photos, I sported a braid-out! The consensus suggested I wear big, wild hair so I went for it! The braid-out was done on dry hair for maximum stretch! Happy New Year! 🙂

This was a twist-out done on freshly deep conditioned hair with Neutrogena leave in conditioner as a moisturizer and whipped shea butter as a sealant.
Bringing in 2011 at a restaurant. I’m wearing twist-outs by mixing Eco Styler gel, unrefined shea butter, olive oil, Carol’s Daughter hair balm and a moisturizer of choice. Happy New Year!
I love this pic of my hair- my husband and I went on a 7-day cruise for the week of Christmas. We flew into Puerto Rico and this was the pic he took right before we got on the ship. It is a 1 day old 2 strand twist-out; I love the way the wind just blew it away, lol. Hope you had a great holiday.
This was my New Year’s Eve/1 year Natural Anniversary look. I was going to do a ‘fro hawk, but decided to pin up the front after my mom finished braiding the sides. I was FIERCE that night!!! And had a great time at church!!! 🙂
This is my daughter and I on her birthday, December 27, 2010. She turned 3 years old and this was after her birthday party. We are both rocking afro puffs.
This is the result of my very first experiment, as I was looking for a hairstyle for a New Year’s Party :). This is my first ever flexirod set!!! Done on freshly cleansed, dc’d and banded hair. I used Giovanni 50:50 Balanced Hydrating-Calming Conditioner and Butters N Bars Organic Aloe Vera Spritzer. Am super excited because the last time my hair looked like this was when I was 15!!! Can’t wait to see how my hair will progress in 2011!!!
Send in your favorite picture with a caption detailing where you were (or where you were headed to), along with a brief description of your hairstyle, to [email protected] I’ll post several each Friday. Be sure to use ‘Fierce Friday’ as the subject line!
We need more for next week!
