Hola chicas!

It’s that time again! The images below are of CN readers at their flyyest…at work, on the town, and with the fam. Showing us all that natural hair is not a fad, it’s a way of life…an extension of our beauty! Click on the images to enlarge them:

Baby G
About to get her first taste of food! *tear* She wasn’t feeling it… spit it out, made funny faces, and then looked at me like, ‘mama, quit playing, where’s the milk?!’

Love you Nikki! Getting ready for a night out on the town. Hair is a Bantu Knot (FAIL) turned into a CurlyHawk….I actually didn’t like my hair but everyone else did.

At home about to head out with my S.O. I did a twist out on freshly washed and conditioned hair and let it air dry in several twist!!
This was on my way out with Hubby and baby boy to hit the mall, just a wash and go, with smooth edges and a lil’ finger coiling (due to my 3 different textures!lol) Spiced it up with a feathered headband (love these…Forever 21…has the greatest accessories).
This is my braid-out (my second fav style besides a rod set). I was on the way to a party. To keep it looking fresh, I sleep with a satin bonnet and roll the ends on flexi-rods. I’m sooo estatic that my friends told me about your web site! It has been so helpful and encouraging to me… Thank you so much :0)

I wore my hair like this on New Year’s Eve. This is a Faux hawk I did on two week old twists I had just taken out. I left a small section out in the front and took 1 pony, split the pony in half and tucked and rolled it down and tucked and rolled the other half up and took the bang section and rolled it back all three sections were secured with bobby pins. Took me less than 10 minutes to do it!

Outside taking some pics, loving the scenery, appreciating life and the maker!

At the massage store in the mall. Owner took a pic of me on the couch. Hair was in bantu knots with only Jane Carter Solution Leave-in the night before.
Hi Nikki! Really love your site and the forum. I was headed out for drinks and dancing with friends about 2 weeks ago- – this was my first twist-out on dry hair, FABULOUS! This was Day 1 hair, twisted with Shea Moisture Masque and EVOO. Left in the twists for 1 day under a head scarf, and took them down with Shea Moisture Smoothie and grapeseed oil.
This is my very first twist-out!!! I’m loving it! Styled with Shea Moisture’s Curl Enhancing Smoothie. I’m headed out with friends for a night of salsa dancing. Your site is the best!

This is a twist-out done on dry hair from a wash n go. I’ve decided to creatively stretch out my wash n’ go’s for the winter season. I used Care Free Curl Gold and just grabbed and twisted medium twists. I left them in for two days and voila!

**If you don’t see yourself today, rest assured that you’ll be up in the coming weeks! I post in the order I receive them!**
