The Argan tree is found in Southwest Morocco. The kernels of the tree are extracted to obtain the oil. Argan oil is widely known for its anti-aging properties; its antioxidants; moisturizing qualities; and its essential fatty acids. Argan oil contains Vitamin F which rejuvenates skin cells and it also contains Vitamin E. Argan Oil is also rich in Omega 3 and Omega 9. Omega 3 helps to prevent hair loss while Omega 9 repairs damaged hair follicles.
Argan oil is used for hair, skin, nails, and cooking. Some people use argan oil to grill vegetables or they use it on their salads along with lemon. Argan oil can be a bit on the expensive side but a little, and I mean a little, goes a long way. Argan oil is the type of oil that you do not want to be heavy handed with because it will leave your hair feeling greasy.

Hi girls
here the perfect place to buy
htt://www.arga-pure-oil.com
This treatment saved my hair and my life!!! OMG!! I was about to do a BIG CHOP because I didn't know what to do with my hair. I used a popular product which I will not name, that changed the texture of my hair!! My hair was dry, brittle and breaking, no matter what I did. Yesterday I went into Sally's and the rep had natural hair and so did many of the customers, and I noticed that they all looked GOOD!! So I questioned about the products they were using… ARGAN OIL!!!! I bought the entire set, the shampoo, conditioner, and oil and OMG….TADA!!! MY HAIR IS BEAUTIFUL!! My husband wont keep his hands out!! Can't wait to order the pure oil. This is a MUST HAVE PRODUCT!!
I have been using the cheap knock off from Sally's and I really like it. I ordered some pure Morrocan oil off Amazon earlier this week and I can't wait until it arrives! My hair has never been so soft and frizz free! It really is a hair miracle! Its especially perfect when I decide to air dry my hair.
I have used both the Moroccanoil and Organix Argan Oil lines and I must say the Organix version comes nowhere close to being as good as the Moroccanoil version. The Moroccanoil deep treatment mask is AH-MAZING, and it leaves my hair so so so soft and shiny. I tried the Organix version cuz the Morocanoil is really expensive (I paid $45 for the restorative deep treatment mask) and I was looking for a cheaper alternative. The Organix deep conditioner was so watery and thin by comparison. However, I think if I had found the Organix conditioner first, I might have liked it a bit more. I guess my hair is now spoiled from the fabulousness of the morocanoil.
Sounds intriguing. Will definitely have to look for this. ~KF519
I haven't tried it yet but I really want to. In a few weeks I'm going to Morrocco…and it's a problem that I'm most excited to possibly find some cheap argan oil.
I LOVE my argan oil. I use it in my deep conditioner and on my face. It leaves my skin and hair feeling so soft. It tends to be expensive but I bought a nice size bottle online from Amazon with free shipping. I know I paid less than $20 for my oil.
I saw about 4 different brands today at Bed Bath and Beyond. Prices ranged from 12.99 to 4.99. Good luck!!!
Argan oil, in its pure form, is great. Many of the newer product lines which have jumped on the argan oil bandwagon have small amounts of the actual oil, but contain lost of other undesirable chemicals.
Organix just came out with an argan oil shampoo and conditioner. The even packaged it in a baby blue bottle (mimicing the Moroccanoil line). The Creme of Nature line has petrolatum in it.
So, be careful. Not all argan oil containing products are created equally.
I love argan oil. I add it to my deep conditioner and spray moisturizer. I truly reduces the amount of frizz but I find it to be extremely expensive.
great post! i was wondering about this oil that everyone is going crazy for. i'm going to wait to buy some to see if this is just another natural hair phaze, but the information was helpful! i'm trying to curb my product junkieism lol
