She's so cute! and I love her hair! Maybe that's style enough for her. heck all I ever do to mine is part it on the side and that's plenty of style for me 🙂
Here we go….
There really is no reason to be catty about it ("well why don't you do a video and show us how it is done"). Anonymous 12:52 has a good point. While she did achieve some definition, it didn't result in a "style". This is fine, of course, if that's the look she was going for. I think most people would take it one step further and style it in some way though. She just: shingled product, shook her head, the end. That look isn't very polished to me. Now, one could also argue that the purpose of her video was to demonstrate how to shingle, and that mission was accomplished. I will definately take some of her pointers and apply it to how "EYE" like to wear my hair.
I could see the waves, but waves and coils etc are pointless if the style doesn't look nice! I'm not into curl definition just to say that it is there.
I'm sure she shingled her hair in to waves/coils cuz you would see it when she did a close up on one section, but usually when you shingle type 4 hair it does not show very well on camera; normally it comes out looking like an afro from far away, in pictures and on videos. I know cuz, I have 4 something type hair; however, when I use a better equipment and the right lighting u can see the waves.
I don't really think shingling goes with this type of hair. I have this type of hair and I think if u want some kind of defined curl you should use twist outs and things like that. Your hair is lovely, but I think other styles would look better. The hair looks overly saturated and it just doesn't look like a hair style,

@ LaToya and u stop being catty, too.

I like her personality. Her hair looked good before and after the shingling. I didn't see that much difference. She has a great spirit.
i just LOVEEE her!
Good video!
That's exactly what I used to do with my hair when I wore a wash-n-go!
She's also the first person I've seen with my hair type.
Good vid!
lurve Evelyn!
