This is a twist-out I did using Kinky Curly’s Knot Today and Curling Custard. I moisturized with Extra virgin Oliveoil and pulled it back with this cute little headband.

I am a newbie and have had my doubts about wether I could actually transition or not. Finally, (on my 30th birthday) I decided – I am too ‘grown’ to be stressing the opinion of ‘society’. See, I wasn’t worried about how I felt, I was worried about how I would be recieved! Terrible!
Well, I cut my hair myself, and switched to a rosemary mint shampoo. In this picture, I’m wearing a fluffed out straw set.

I was headed to church. I’d done a two strand twist with a hand twist style all around my head. I had the sides of my hair flat twisted and held up in a slight mohawk with hair clips. Needless to say I was feeling myself and the morning praise that day!

This is my favorite twist-out thus far. I detangled with my Tangle Teezer on dry hair then used Oyin’s Hair Dew and Shine & Define. The next day I untwisted with Hairveda’s Hair Frosting and got this soft and fluffy result!

Snapping a quick photo before running some errands. I’m rocking my usual flexi rod rollerset because I can’t quite master the 2 strand twist.

I was on my way to a baby shower and I did flat twists on the side and a braid-out on the top/side using aloe vera juice and watered down “LottaBody” setting lotion.

The kids of the family decided to take a family Christmas picture to give to mom and dad. While we were there, we also decided to take individual family pics as well. They turned out great!!
