Here’s my 11 week old baby girl. This last week I’ve started putting Virgin Coconut Oil on her hair and we (hubby & I – he’s the seamster in the family…LOL) are going to experiment with making her a satin cap to sleep in. We are trying to implement good hair care fairly early so it will be second nature to her as she gets older.

You all are absolutely right about not putting anything on her head. I never did use a cap, but shortly after submitting this to CN.com, I decided to use one of my satin pillow cases to put over my little one's bassinet pad. She's now almost 15 weeks old and has been sleeping on the satin pillow case ever since and you can see the difference. She's almost ready to start sleeping in a crib so I've been looking for satin crib sheets but have not had any success. If I'm not able to find satin crib sheets, I'll have hubby alter a regular satin sheet to fit over the crib mattress.

I know this may sound obsessive but I give my own hair a lot of care and attention so I'll give my little one just as much if not more care.

I can only view these babies when my flatmates are sleeping. I squeal so loud and babytalk to my computer screen so much that they think I'm a raving loony! Lol!
Ladies, y'all are blessed with BEAUTIFUL children. I can only keep hoping that I get to have my own some day! *goes on a man-hunt*

Beautiful babies!!! I agree about a satin cap not being safe for a baby that small though.

Beautiful babies but DON'T put anything around a baby's head! It could be a choking or suffocation hazard.

The cuties make me smile every week…

Anonymous I was thinking the same thing about putting a satin sleeping cap on the baby. I think you can worry about preserving her hair style much later in her life!

  • Brittany says:

BEAUTIFUL BABIES! ALL OF THEM ARE ADORABLE 🙂

  • Anonymous says:

    All them are adorable!

@Kristy- please don't let the baby sleep in a cap; it could slide over her face.
