It’s that time again! The images below are of CN readers at their flyyest…at work, on the town, and with the fam. Showing us all that natural hair is not a fad, it’s a way of life…an extension of our beauty! Click on the images to enlarge them:
This is me rocking a twist-out gone bad as a faux hawk. I was getting ready for the Ice Cube concert at the House of Blues in Dallas.
On my way to work. This is a braid n curl. I used my shea whip to achieve the look. I LOVE MY HAIR!
This is a picture of me wearing a braid-out during school. Thanks!
Just woke up LOL, so I had to put on some shades. This is a dry twist out. I’m so happy I’m on this Journey.
This is a picture of me before heading out to party for my 25th birthday. I love when my dry twist-outs turn out amazing and this was one of those days. I used Paul Mitchell “The Conditioner” to set my hair and Lotta Body for the ends. Love, love, love this stuff. Keeps my hair naturally fierce!
Hi Nikki! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE and did I say LOVE your blog?!? Here I am at date night out with ‘Papi’; a much needed night break from our 7 month old baby girl. My 2 ½ month old red highlights on my natural hair are co-washed with Aussie Moist, styled/scrunched with Garnier Fructis Cream Gel & Olive Oil glossing for shine. Thank you for and the natural community for allowing me to love & embrace my natural hair!
I’m from South London UK. I Big Chopped on 30 June 2010 and had 3 mini chops since. I love experimenting with colour and this is my latest. I’m finally growing out my TWA and am wearing finger coils. Love em! Thanks for having such a wicked site! It’s taught me sooo much!!!
This is my first twist-out attempt on dry hair. I hennaed and used Carol’s Daughter Loc Butter…
