Laila-Jean aka FusionofCultures is at it again! She says;
This videos show’s how I achieve my curly afro using a modified version of Curlynikki’s Twist ‘n’ Curl method. This a great style for anyone who is transitioning or a natural diva looking to switch up their look or even our relaxed divas! Just like fine wine this style only gets better with time. :o)
Check out Laila-Jean’s blog, Honey Molasses!
This style is amazing!! Common's song is on point too!!
Your hair looks great! What kind of shampoo and conditioner do you use? And how long did it take you to twist and roll your hair? Also (sorry for all the questions), how long does that look last for? I just came out of braids for two years and I'm going natural so this is definitely a look that I'll try. I'm still trying to figure out what products to use.
Love her channel on YT.
How do you sleep? Do you just use a silk scarf and re-moisturize each day?
Wow, this is a gorgeous style! My hair is so thick that I wouldn't quite be able to achieve the EXACT same style but it's definitely worth a try!

I love love love this young lady! Beautiful hair and personality!
I did a version of this Friday night, prior to seeing this video; I am inspired to re-do it!
One question! How have you kept it up for 4 whole days! Share you sleeping secrets, please!
i absolutely love this style.. the moment I saw it I went out and stocked up on those rods and tried it.. Now.. the only question I have is how can i preserve these curls to last for a long time?.. because the pineapple trick does not work for me
You're hair looks beautiful! Great Job! What brand of coconut oil is the one shown in your video? BTW love Nas and Damian.
Cute!!!! (and you can't go wrong with Common & Nas)
Laila-jean I loooooove your hair! reminds me of mine =) I'm a long term transitioner as well and I never know how to style my hair because I either want it straight or have that "natural look" which it doesn't, or maybe I don't know how to style my hair?, but this gives me hope! I will definitely give this style a try and check out your blog and youtube vids. Keep it up girl =)
I am just soooo impressed by Laila-Jean's tenacity in transitioning for this long! When I see the difference between her/your natural hair and the relaxed ends, I know I would BC just because the ends looks so thin prior to styling. But, once styled, it's sheer brilliance. You can not see a difference in the texture at all and because the ends hold a curl so well, you know that the relaxed hair is amazingly healthy. Just a beautiful, lush head of hair. Again, my fine haired envy is kicking in;-). Just love, love, LOVE this curly fro. I might be able to do a pale imitation of this one=).

I Love this!!!!! Can't wait to try this. Your hair is gorgeous. I love when you shake it.
PS. Great music choices. My husband gets tired of the talking and music of my "hair tutorial watching" habit. He heard heard your songs and was like, " I like her! Knows about that Common .Only watch her videos around me please." That last song was on point, too.
Very nice!
