Yes her hair has grown a lot and to each their own. She has a lot of styles for natural hair that you can do but with your own twist. You do not have to use the same products or even the same method to achieve her styles.
I love to watch her videos for the hair styling tutorials. Even though she implements practices that are not 'natural' which I've found to be the case for some natural vloggers, she offers some great styling tips/demos that are useful and very creative imo. I'm sure many viewers enjoy watching her videos for that purpose.
I noticed that also, her hair has been around the same length for a long time. The colored hair looks damaged also and when she straightens her hair the ends look fried!
I hope I do not offend anyone with this post, but I do not like aphogee, and when I used to have a relaxer I used it and it was a complete mess! It is harsh in my opinion….it burned like HELL! My scalp and my hands, and the smell! I most certainly as a natural would not use this product now. There are many other methods to use protein in your hair if that's what you need.
Secondly, again, please not wanting to offend anyone, but I've seen PD on youtube for quite some time now, and I have never been impressed with her methods of hair care or styling. Her hair never grows, it's obviously damaged, from blow-frying,(flat irons)and harsh hair color. Sorry, just my opinion. I just wish everyone would stop lying to this child on her channel and telling her that hair is this and that because it's not….it's damaged and she needs to bc again…. just saying.
I just did this protein treatment on my mom last weekend. After just one treatment, it helped with her breakage due to stress and various medications. The only thing is that after washing the aphogee out, her hair was not wiry and hay like. I hope I did it the right way.
this post came right on time. last week I made a mess in my bathroom, while pouring the treatment into my hands. It dripped all over and had my entire countertop sticky… i'll definitely be using her method next time.
