Self-Concept Thursday!

Letting Yesterday Go.

by Leandra of What My World’s Like

snatch tomorrow out the sky and throw it away.

essentially, that’s what happens when you live in yesterday. the moment always passes in a blur and before you know it, chunks of time have fallen out your hands to the ground, shattered. even if they can be pieced together, the cracks always show.

time is that precious. if you’re anything like me, you spend too much of it in the future or in the past, but not enough being here, now, making this life exactly what you want it to be.

eventually, living in the past becomes trite and the feelings of unfulfillment compound. so stop. now.

survey the moment and appreciate it for what it is and what it isn’t.

instead of reminiscing over what was, build a better “now” now.

Nikki ✩, DEFINITELY time for some peace and contentment. 🙂 I'm convinced that we can have it all when we get our hearts and minds aligned with love in the present.

This is so real. I'm going to begin making an attempt to live in my "right now" and stop concerning myself so much with my past or future, which is so tiring. Time for some peace and contentment.

What a great concept! For this reason, it is important to seize the day before it begins. I probably am always living in the future, but really if you don't plan to enjoy each day, your future isn't all that bright, because you will just be doing what you've always done. I am starting to begin each day with prayer and asking God to place the right people in my path, and asking him what is it that He wants me to do on that day.
