I bought this product a while back on impulse and had not used it. After reading a review, I decided to give it a try. I used Shea Moisture curl enhancing smoothie as a leave in and then applied the Twisted Sista curl activator and did medium sized plaits. LOVE IT!!!!! My hair is well defined and most of all SOFT AND MOISTURIZED!!!! Definitely a keeper

I have the 30 Second Spray and the Conditioner, and I really like them both. My hair is more wavy-curly, and both products ruduced shrinkage and frizz:)

I love their 30 second spray it really give me define curls more than any other line, it does make the hair a little dry so I make sure to moisturize really well prior to using this product. I have 4a/3c hair type and it works for me. I love the fact that this product does not give me a lot of shrinkage.

I've been natural for 3 years now and I love trying new products so my mother bought this product for me about two weeks ago used it once and immediately said to myself "never again" this product made my curls shrink and there were flakes everywhere. Not something I'd recommend. To be fair I figured I'd try something else from their product line to give them the benefit of the doubt nonetheless their moisturizer could use some re-formulations.

lol I had high hopes for this line. It isn't horrible, but it isn't great. I use the curl cream as a "moisturizer" when I am nursing an old twist out or when I am on the go ( i keep this in my car for hair emergencies only) I agree with Chantel, I hope the product makers are reading.

I sure hope the product makers are reading these reviews because this is just too sad lol

Horrible. I ended up giving it to a friend & it was awful on both our very different hair textures. Impulse buy at Duane reade gone wrong!

Yes I have tried it and loved it. I use it as my travel curl enhancer their products are conveniently packaged to put into your luggage or even purse and are very easy to use to create carefree bouncing curls.

I use the curl activating cream, It works well I believe most people just use too much product. The Best way to use the curl activating cream is on second day hair to control the frizz that can come from sleeping on the hair. It also adds a little weight to the hair which is good especially if you sleep with your hair in a pineapple. Spray your hair with a light spritz of water, then put a very small about of the curl activator (maybe between a dime and penny sized amount, for some even less) in your hands and then rub your hands together and fluff and smooth your hair with the product on your hands. This product is also good if you feel your first day curls are too tight and want to loosen then a bit. This is how I find this product works the best, I also think this product would work well for curlies with a finer and more wavy curl pattern. Just thought I'd share since there is so much hate about this product going around, it's all in the way you use it which is with a very light hand.

Well I definitely won't be buying any of those products esp. after seeing the reviews on here about it. I'll pass.

I have not heard/read not ONE (except for j.danielle above) positive review on this stuff….

I actually really love the 30 second curl spray. It was an impulse buy from Target a while ago. It works really well at getting my looser curls (or what looks to me like almost straight curls) to actually DO something. I've heard bad things about the rest of the line through YouTube reviews though.

    Saw this is TJMaXX…complete FAIL

  • Mimi says:

I tried the straightening creme when I blew out my hair, and it was worthless.

  • KindredSmile says:

I saw this in my local Walgreens and the list of ingredients is terrible. Not worth the money, at all. Pass.

Tried the curl activator and the curl spray. OMG FAIL!!! No curls were activated and it left my hair soooo dry. I wanted so badly for this to work for me cuz the spray cost me less than $5 and I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the devacurl set it free. Back to the drawing board….
