I went natural 3 years ago which for me meant ditching the color bottle. Since then my curls found more bounce and less kink from dryness. I use Carol’s Daughter’s Tui Leave In Conditioner to refresh my curls once or twice a day. The transition was a bit awkward and I documented the changes month by month. Gray is fun. Bold lip color and eyes shadows create great accents for day and night. What I love best are the dollars that I save by not coloring my hair, now goes to edgy cuts and pretty shoes!

The silver/gray really sets off nicely against your young smooth skin! Striking.
You look BEAUTIFUL!!
Hi,
I am grey/black and natural. I would like to know what products do you use to keep in moisture and how to you get that style? By the way I am a young 64 and stop putting perms in my hair one year now.
beautiful!
Just breathtaking! You seriously need to post more pics. I'm not grey (yet), but I'm guessing loads of more women would love to see you.
Gorgeous!!!!
I love your hair. The color and the style are beautiful. It is great to see pics of other women who have embraced their gray. I just recently did a big chop and stopped coloring. I look so much younger as the color works better with subtle changes in my skin tone.
You look beautiful!!
At 49, I only have a few strands of the silver streaks in the front….I hope that my hair looks as gorgeous as yours when they all start to show
If I could wake up tomorrow morning and have a head full of beautiful silver hair like this, Dark n' Lovely could kiss me goodbye forever.
WOW, I'm speechless. BEAUTIFUL!!
All I can say is WOW! You are a knockout. I'm 42 and starting to gray a little at the temple. I plan on rocking this silver streak and hopefully will one day look as beautiful as you do! 🙂
Love, love, love your hair color, style and the cut. I wish you'd tell us about your routine and the cut as well.
Your hair is beautiful. You have a youthful face which goes nicely with silver hair.
I want to go gray but I am finding it more difficult than I thought it would be. By using henna and indigo I've eliminated the dangerous chemicals associated with hair dye. Not only that but henna & indigo have strengthened and improved the texture of my hair so I'm kinda hooked on the stuff. Plus I love the color of my henna'd/indigoed hair.
Another reason I haven't gone gray yet is because my hair is long and I feel I would need a Big Chop to let the gray grow in nicely. However, I want to grow my hair for the next five years and I can't have half of it black/brown and half of it gray/white.
One of the nice things about using plant dye is that you can use it everyday without harm and it is very inexpensive.
Oh my gosh, I was JUST talking to my mom this morning about gray hair and now I stumble across this post. My mom says she will probably still dye her hair when she's 90 because gray is not a good look! Can't wait to show her you! Beautiful!!! You make gray look great!
I'm waiting for my gray to fill in like that…reminds me of mom. Right now I have some strands sprinkled through the front and sides. Then in the back on the left side it looks like someone dropped a bag of flour on my head!
love salt n pepper hair! BEAUTIFUL!!!
Exudes wisdom, beautiful!
Your hair is so beautiful. Please share your tips on how you keep your gray looking so good. Do you have a blog?
Your hair is gorgeous!! I hope I gray as beautifully as you have.
I love that silver!! And you're beautiful!! Not rushing but when the time comes, I will rock it 🙂
I love love love it I am ready for the gray I want a big streak right in the front… but I don't think I will start turning for years to come I have about 10 or 15 in the top and I was excited about it seriously… I am…. I would have to say I can't wait but who know you look lovely and gracefull…
looking good!
How timely I have been debating letting my hair go gray, tired of the old dyeing process.
Wow, I have never seen such gorgeous gray hair in my life! I think I have a new "hair crush" =)
I love all of the shades of grey and her curls are GORGEOUS!
*im so jealous and im only 20 lol*
Beautiful! This is encouraging as I am transitioning and going gray. I love natural gray hair.

Teruko B. Absolutely beautiful!! I'm 59, gray and natural. I so don't miss the salon trips for color. Do you battle brassiness and, if so, what do you use? I use the Shimmer Lights as a last resort. It's so drying and doesn't really do the job! Do you or any of the other GrayNNatural beauties have any suggestion(s)?? Thanks.
Breath-takingly Gorgeous!!!!
Awesome!
gorgeous!!!!! so very beautiful.
Love it!!
Absolutely beautiful

I love seeing other gray/salt & pepper naturals like myself featured in these posts. I was surprised when at age 62 last year so many people, including my husband, told me that I looked younger and perkier with my gray, natural hair which I wear in a braidout every day. The color is much like Teruko's, it's about an inch shorter, and the texture is mostly 4b with some 4a in the crown. I believe the gray "movement" is much like the natural "movement," and that the more positive examples and possibilities that women see, the more open they will become to gray and/or natural hair.
You look like a queen! I love the grey! I wish more women would stop trying to cover it up. My dad always said that he loved the "silver fox" ladies. LOL Keep rocking that grey, lady!!! 🙂
wow! What an inspiration! I am graying on my edges and have been fighting it. Your hair is gorgeous!
You wear it well. Very pretty color.
Very pretty. I love your gray color!
