It’s that time again! The images below are of CN readers at their flyyest…at work, on the town, and with the fam. Showing us all that natural hair is not a fad, it’s a way of life…an extension of our beauty! Click on the images to enlarge them:
I was attending an Omega Psi Phi Mardi Gras in Spartaburg, SC. I did a quick side swept updo with a hair accessory in the back.
I wanted something cute and simple to go with a busy end of the week and weekend, so I pulled my hair up in a side pony. I received a lot of compliments on it and I loved how my hair was out of my way, yet stylish, while dealing with the hot days in Atlanta!
These are mini twist I did last week. I was inspired by A and her mom at beadsbraidsbeyond.blogspot.com.
Hope all is well!
Taken in California circa 2008, first BC. Short and in control, with the help of Kinky Curly’s Custard.
Enjoying a Friday!
This was my first attempt at a twisted updo and one of the few times that I’ve worn my natural hair out in the last 3 years. I washed with Dr. Bronners, DC’d with avocado, honey and mayo mixed with Aussie Moist, let air dry and just started to twist. Thank you for being an inspiration. Donelle
Bon Giorno Nikki,
I loooooovvvvvve your site (I think I’m addicted) 🙂 Attached is pic of me and my partner in crime Cheralyn. I’m on the left rocking a braid out and she is on the right rocking her low cut. We were in Venice Italy, posing in our hotel room when we took this pic.
My name’s Mylah. I was about to pick up my 6-month-old from Day Care & decided to snap a pic. This is 3 days post-BC! I had co-washed & decided to just start twirling my hair with a styling gel & VOILA! I actually like this a lot better than the wash and go I left the salon with. =) MiiSS kECiia
Heading to school with this is a bantu knot out I did on my flatironed hair. Love your site CN (=
This was on Mother’s Day before church. I’m wearing a 2nd day twistout that I did using just Kinky Curly Knot Today mixed the kimmaytube way. Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mommy’s out there!!! 🙂
We always need more!
